Book excerpt: My book, Gods Messenger Angels, is a true story written with detail provided by messages from the Lord. These messages are included in my writing. A spiritual experience of a visit by a messenger angel guided me through a chain of events which saved the life of my husband, John. With these messages, God has given me the gift of prophecy. These prophecies have eventuated with a high degree of accuracy. My husband and I were diagnosed with two different kinds of cancer. Mine was breast cancer, and his was low-grade lymphoma, which has no cure. After the diagnosis of my husbands cancer, we discovered he had a heart problem. With Gods blessing, we both had a spiritual experience of healing. The full story is recorded in the book. I do sincerely hope and pray it will give hope and peace to other people who are going through difficult times of affliction. May the Lord be with you and bless you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “God is said in Scripture to send what he can (but doth not) hinder from being sent.” – Edward Bird (1726)God has been taking the blame for sickness and disease for centuries. We have been told that He sends sickness as an aid to spiritual growth and piety or as a punishment for sin. Vast amounts of Scripture have been cited to support this claim. This idea has contributed to the lack of faith prevalent in the church today for healing and deliverance. After all, if God gave a person sickness then His willingness to heal is questionable. Faith can only be present where the will of God is known. However, if sickness is seen as an enemy of God then faith in God’s willingness to heal is more likely to rise.Numerous apologetic books have been written in support of divine healing, but most have not dealt completely with the many Biblical passages that appear to make God the direct cause of sickness. This book is different in that it will look at these difficult Bible passages in light of the permissive idiom of the ancient Hebrew language, in which God is often said to do the things that He merely allowed or permitted to happen. Those passages in both the Old and New Testaments that make God appear to be a cold and cruel dispenser of sickness and disease will be seen in a new light. You will see God’s loving character vindicated, your Bible will be a fresh source of blessing, and your faith in God for health and healing will soar.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A messenger's duty is to care for and protect the god they've been assigned to. In order to complete these tasks, such messengers require wings. Shin, however, can't fly. His tiny, useless wings make him the target of ridicule and scorn among the other messengers and have kept him from being able to serve a god... until now. Determined to prove himself as a capable messenger despite his flightlessness, Shin accepts his assignment to a mysterious being on one of the nearby mountains. At first, it seems an easy task to keep his charge safe and happy — especially when the deity in question is just a cute, fluffy ball of fur. But things aren't always what they seem. Recently, messengers flying over the strange god's mountain have been disappearing. Even as suspicion mounts against his deity, Shin just can't bring himself to think that such a gentle god could have a dark side. It's strange, but for some reason... the mysterious, fluffy being feels so familiar to him.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many of our theologians have told us that God is the responsible agent for all of the natural evil that we suffer. These theologians and philosophers are not without their “Biblical” proof-texts. For them, Sodom and Gomorrah, the flood of Noah, the plagues of Egypt, the trials of Job, the end time events of the book of Revelation and other historical accounts recorded in Scripture provide sufficient evidence that God is behind most, if not all, natural disasters. This book will show us that by understanding how the “permissive idiom” of the Ancient Eastern and Hebrew cultures was used to describe God’s actions, we can get a fresh perspective of God’s place in many of the natural disasters in Scripture that were attributed to Him. We will then see a loving God who is not destructive but actually does all that He can to save men from destruction without violating their freedom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the Foreword This Concordance of the Qur'an in English satisfies a paramount need of those—and there are millions of them—who have no command of the Arabic language and yet desire to understand the Qur'an. The benefit derivable from English translations of the Sacred Book is, in principle, limited because, first, the Qur'an is not a "book" but a collection of passages revealed to Muhammad over a period of about twenty-three years and, second, because the Qur'an is not really translatable. This does not mean that the Qur'an should not be translated. It does mean that translations lose much in tone and nuance, let alone the incommunicable beauty, grandeur, and grace of the original. . . . The main distinction of Hana Kassis's concordance, in my view, is that it utilizes the semantic structure of Arabic vocabulary itself in revealing the meaning of the Qur'an on any given issue, point or concept. A reader who looks in the index of this concordance for a word which he has encountered in reading an English translation of the Qur'an—the word pride, for example—is directed immediately to the roots of the Arabic, Qur'anic terms for pride. At tne entries for these Arabic roots, all the derivative forms are shown, and the verses of the Qur'an in which they appear are there listed in translation. . . . I am confident that any person who is sincerely interested in understanding the Qur'an and appreciating the nuances of its diction and shades of its meaning can satisfy his need more fully with this book than in any way short of developing a real command over the Arabic language itself. —Fazlur Rahman, Professor of Islamic Thought, University of Chicago
