Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At the Feet of the Master was the first book published by Jiddu Krishnamurti. Written when he was 14 under the name "Alcyone" and published in 1910, it has been translated into 40 languages. There has been some debate over whether the author was Krishnamurti or his mentor C.W. Leadbeater. Krishnamurti never said that he wrote the work, and in the foreword he says: "These are not my own words but of the Master who taught me." He was referring to Leadbeater's claim that the Master Kuthumi was releasing the instruction to the young boy during the night while he was asleep. The book is considered a theosophical classic.

Book excerpt: When the truths set forth in this book were revealed to me by the Master they deeply affected my life, and some of them have been used by me in my sermons and addresses in Europe, America, Africa, Australia, and Asia. At the request of many friends I have now gathered them together in this little book, and though it is possible that there are defects in setting them forth, I am sure that those who read them with prayer and an unprejudiced mind will benefit from them as I have. Sundar Singh was born into a Sikh family. His mother took him to sit at the feet of a sadhu while also sending him to Ewing Christian High School. Upon her death when he was fourteen he took out his anger on missionaries, persecuted Christian converts, and ridiculed their faith. Sundar resolved to kill himself but had a vision of Jesus and resolved to follow Christ. He was then denounced by his father and his brother attempted to poison him.

Book excerpt: In the little village of Bethany, Mary found her purpose in life seated at the Master's feet. Like her, all believers can find a resting place in Him. When the cares of life fail to distract us and His purpose for us becomes clearer, we see Him for what He truly is, the loving Father of us all. Readers will learn the secrets of perseverance in the face of great trial from champions in the faith; see the face that Moses saw when He met with God on the mountain; and glean from the insights of those who have successfully gone before and received their heavenly crowns. The Road to Bethany is a quiet journey of reflection and inspiration which will refresh and encourage every reader. Arranged somewhat incrementally, these essays are deliberately simple at first, then gradually increasing in depth as the road continues upward and draws closer to the Master. Perfect for personal devotions, quiet reflection or group study, these essays speak to the place in every heart that longs to know Him in a more intimate way.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Now a major motion picture starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson! Goodreads Choice Winner, Best Young Adult Fiction of 2019 In this #1 New York Times bestselling novel that’s perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, two teens fall in love with just one minor complication—they can’t get within a few feet of each other without risking their lives. Can you love someone you can never touch? Stella Grant likes to be in control—even though her totally out of control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. At this point, what Stella needs to control most is keeping herself away from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions. The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. He couldn’t care less about his treatments, or a fancy new clinical drug trial. Soon, he’ll turn eighteen and then he’ll be able to unplug all these machines and actually go see the world, not just its hospitals. Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from. If he so much as breathes on Stella she could lose her spot on the transplant list. Either one of them could die. The only way to stay alive is to stay apart. But suddenly six feet doesn’t feel like safety. It feels like punishment. What if they could steal back just a little bit of the space their broken lungs have stolen from them? Would five feet apart really be so dangerous if it stops their hearts from breaking too?
